Well, I am hardly qualified to determine what is *best* in all of SL (believe it or not, there *are* some shops I have not yet visited! LOL!) but I will tell you what's best for *me*:

1) Skin: I am a Gala girl. Ohhhhh...I've *tried* other skins, and I still have an inventory full of demos from other places. But I keep coming back to Gala, as I have since I first started buying them back in my noob days when I could only afford *one* skin and hers was *it*.

2) Hair: I could carpet a sim or two with all my hairstyles, from various hairmakers around the grid. Gurl6 and ETD were early favorites (what can I say? I had a free voucher for them! LOL!) for the variety of styles alone, but it's Damselfly that I now use as my "everyday" hair and I look forward to snapping up her new releases like a hungry crocodile gobbles a gazelle!

3) Shape: It's *me,* kids! Yep. Take away the gorgeous Gala skin and you just have a digital replica of 5'10", no bum, poochy-stomached me. Good thing I have such a *great* personality to offset my lack of "ass"ets! Bwahaha!

4) Eyes/Eyelashes: Call me crazy, but I have never found better blue eyes than the freebies so graciously provided by the late, great Miriel Enfield's store, Miriel. I searched and searched and simply can't beat the depth, the warmth, the detail. For all intents and purposes, these *are* my eyes. As for eyelashes, nothing makes me feel sexier than Deviant Kitties' and I bat them at boys for all they're worth!

5) Clothes: Ay yay yay, it would take pages and pages to list my favorites in this category. Again, since this is not my judgment about what's best on the grid and more about what's best for *moi* I am going to admit that I like Armidi. Yes. I said the dreaded "A" word. Their Cambridge shirt is a staple of my SL wardrobe and I'm gonna stand by it, just as it has stood by me. PixelDolls consistently puts out great separates that I have worn until they are threadbare (or would be if they weren't...you know...digital). I have pants from last year by Cachet (rebranded to LeLutka) that I consider one of my "best" pair. Paper Couture is who I turn to when I need some glam. Fishy Strawberry is fab for funwear. You know who else I really like and I don't think she gets enough credit is Callie Cline. She has some ubercute pieces and has been around long enough to be really good at what she does. I could go on and on, but that would delay me too long from heading to the next category, which is......

6) Shoes: *sings a la showtunes*....."Shoes, glorious shoes, what is there more handsome!" I'll join the pack and say that Stiletto Moody is my hands-down favorite. Absolutely shoegasmic, and I own several budget-busting pairs. I also think that Redgrave does a fabulous job of texturing, as does Maitreya. Pixel Mode is one of my favs, along with Zhao. That said, it's Shiny Things that I consistently visit for my shoe fix, as I have since I first came to SL. Fallingwater Cellardoor just keeps getting better with time.

7) Jewelry: I swear by Muse, Paper Couture, Alienbear, Earthstones, and find that Ryker Beck's work in her various incarnations and reincarnations (LIX, Damsel, Genesis, and now, Exodi) is top-notch.

8) AOs/Dances/Poses: I cobbled mine together, using various anims from different sources, and throwing them into a ZHAO II HUD. Two of my favorite "moves" are from Vista. As for dances, the best I have found are from Akeyo and SineWave. Poses, for me, means LAP (Long Awkward Pose) by Dove Swanson, though Imperial Elegance (rebranded to ImPele) also is the cuteness.

I say .... Have you been over to Discord Designs? The flow and movement are amazing and without a doubt the best male facial hair on Secnd Life. IMHO

Dreadlecta ! thank you for the heads up. Went over to look and purchased a pair. Yummy goodness right out of the box. Unpacked and put on, no fuss no muss no adject they were perfect and the price made me smile!

My favorite shoes with sculpted foot and toes is Enchanted Secret's Heels. They remind me a lot of Moodys yet they are affordable. The owner of that shop is very friendly and even has Midnight Mania give aways, too.

Fav eyes ... Earthstones and HooT. Fav jewelry Earthstones, Dark Mouse. Love Moodys we all do but Im going with *yeah , too expesive* but I do own a few pair, gifts mostly. Love J's Toes .... SLink rocked it too but check out B&G , you're gonna love them thier HUD and their price. Also Tango New York. Skins Chai, serioulsy hands down BUT I love Symphony Skins too.Lazolli and Gala make me smile. I just got a really fabulous skin at Fresh FX Body Shop.

Skins... yummy...
1) Gala, always spectacularly sexy.
2) Sexy Skins/Lara - Small out of the way shop, only does tanned skins, first tan I was ever willy to wear.
3) Lazolli, you are sure to find something you like here, diverse selection
4) Beleze for men's skins, definitely, no question.

6) RaC and YES, I still call them RaC! It's easier. They have done some gorgeous things with their new glow skins.

And yes, i do OWN, have actually purchased one or more skins from all of the above. As well as anyone else I mention as I continue to blather. :)

Shoes.. Ok I love Stiletto Moody too BUT she hits my "it's a game hun" limit. No shoes in SL are worth that much money.

So I opt for
1) SLink - she has toes now too :) But personally.. I only wear toe shoes with slacks. Setig the skins for every different time of day is a PITA.
2) SKG - can't be beat. 250L a pair and every single style fits like it was custom made for you.

I wear a LOT of different boots, I would need a whole new post for those. LOL however, my favorite 2 pairs atm are from Bukka and Redgrave.

Eyes...
well I am solidly behind Avatar Eyes, found at Pixel Dolls. Once I tried them, I haven't found anything to replace them, and I do look .. I am a shopper! :D

Hair... very fussy here! I own over 1000 hairdo's

1) BEST BRAIDS EVAH in SL... Panache
2) BEST flexi movement in hair.. Analog Dog & Excess
3) Best FUN Hair.. Bish Wear
4) Best mid-length ... Hair Solutions
5) Best Neko... PE and wearing Men's hair from Bryce :)
6) Best no flexi hair (only updo's - if it is below the ears and not flexi, it's passe') ETD.
Oh there are TONS of others I wear and I hate to leave any out, but I can't justify placing them on the list for "A STYLE" they got right. Ewww did I say that? Darn tootin'.
