Ok sorry took me so long to answer some or all of your questions :))
Making sure you AV matches your skin? What I mean is... that when you're shopping for a new skin, you look for one that already matches your facial features. Eye and mouth shape especially but those can still (and usually need to be) adjusted slightly to keep your unique look.
:)) Angelik's shape info was general range just as the female info is!
About black hair... there are a lot of black haired beauties! As a matter of fact, most models are either black or blonde but very few red :P which I am! The fact is though that models switch their hair to instruction of shows or photography direction so it really is not a matter of what your main image is. I've never heard any photographers say they didn't want me to Not wear black hair though.
Belleza is one of the most popular, best made and best looking skin out there for photography or SL. There are other just as nice skins and just as photographic. As far as shiny skins go, as a model, they aren't popular. Most fashion show directors and photographers do not like the "shiny - wet skinned" look unless it's for a particular shot like bikinis or beach; however, a glow in the skin to give dimension is very acceptable. :)
One of my Discussions has a list of Skin designers that was up to date at the time I did it :P Since then I've had others mentioned or referred to me so I need to update it. My suggestion is to go to one of the Skin Fairs or Expos they have off and on throughout the year at different places. Alady runs a few of these but her skins and shapes are not very popular in the modeling world; mostly in the everyday sector.
If you have any other questions, please ask! And if anyone has any more info, please add a reply! :D HUGS
