Today we present you a special release because of two things !

First, the store changed season, we were bored with winter sooooo we’re pleased to welcome the beautiful season of Spring at Fellini Couture !!!!

Secondly, for this occasion the fantastic Joy Fellini created a gown called « Daisy » to go especially with the hair from Plume named « Spring » !

Plume is a new hair store owned by Fauve Beaumont & Lulu Jameson which will soon have a location just near Fellini Couture mainstore ! that is just awesome !

Daisy is a gorgeous yellow gown to remind you the warmth and the light of sun. All adorned with big daisies and dragonflies it really has a pastoral mood but still is really elegant and feminine.

Checkmate

Mostly is a deep black, this gown is all based on the chess game.  The skirt, which reminds us the shape of the Poem’s one, ends with a beautiful chessboard all in black and white and is adorned of little diamonds.

The top is really simple and let all the glory to the skirt. Its back is beautifully open to let appear your spine in a sexy and elegant way.

Finally, the hat completes perfectly this outfit by providing  some touches of black and white which call back the end of the skirt.

Precious Pearl

So delicate in light pink silk, you will be amazed by the silver corset encrusted with precious stones on a beautiful ornament, original sculpted top with the same stones and flexi sleeves in   black lace and silk for a nice contrast .

The hair accessory is an ode to the feminity, roses, feathers and the same details as on the corset.

MVW Gowns

 Irish Orchid

 

The Irish Orchid is a little known blue wildflower of humble origins, but it makes a very bold and dramatic statement on this lovely gown, based on a Christian Dior design. 

The sleeveless gown is resplendent with a tight fitting, robin’s egg blue colored  bodice and a sculpted deeper blue layer (matching the color of the flower) around the very top edge of the bodice Two delicate Irish Orchids with leaves and sparkling blue adornments sit at the very top of the bodice.  At the form-fitting waist, layers and layers of softly flowing fabric, with blue piping around the edges, gently surround you, billowing out and cascading to the floor, with the overall effect being extremely graceful and feminine.  Additional flowers, leaves, and blue sparkles nestle at the very back of the waist as well.
   
The heart of this gown, the Irish Orchid, is prominently displayed at the front of the waist, as several cascade down the front, with little ribbons, leaves, and additional blue sparkle.  As you walk, the exquisite multiple layers of this gown flow in the most charming and elegant sweep of movement.  Matching gloves with flowers and streaming ribbons at the top and lovely hairflowers complete this magnificent creation.  You will truly feel like Cinderella at the ball when you wear Irish Orchid!

Golden Leaves

 

The Golden Leaves gown was inspired by a real life gown first created for the Salon du Chocolat 2010 in France.

The bodice is a beautiful fitted corset that is soft and slightly transparent, showcasing hundreds of golden leaves flowing around the chest and waist. The gown is a sultry gypsy style designed with stunningl rich brown tones that are draped with subtle falling golden leaves into the full length skirt that is accentuated by a vibrant golden tulle at the bottom.

This gown was my dream and Joy Fellini made it real for me. I’m really proud to have worn it for the finale pageant .

 The lace is « born » in XIV century but is always at the forefront of fashion. Joy Fellini uses it here in her own way for this creation.

Sparkling Diamond

All in a somptuous immaculate white, this gown sparkles everywhere. The simple corset with discrete flowers and leaves on the chest ends on the bottom with a big belt made of millions lil sparkling diamonds and other flowers.


The skirt has a form of a princess’s gown with a lil train in the back. A stunning hat made with same materials as the dress complete the outfit and gives a mysterious aspect by covering a little the eyes.

This summer, Fellini Couture celebrates its first anniversary !!!

Joy Fellini created her very first gown last year during hot days, and since this time she hasn’t stopped creating for our great pleasure !!

For this very special occasion we are organizing a photo contest :

The theme is : Fairytale (princess, witch, faery, and whatever your imagination will creates)

PLEASE, READ IT CAREFULLY

✦ Entries will run from August 15th to September 1st.2010 [3pm SLT]
/!\ entries after this deadline will not be taken into consideration /!\

✦ Only one photo per entry and the photo has to be a new creation. No old photo please.
There can be one or several models on the pic but there will be only one prize.

✦ You can take the photo by yourself or hire a photographer. You have to wear a creation from Fellini Couture or a mix&match with Joy Fellini’s design.
(Hairs, Lingerie are also acceptable)

✦ Photo editing is encouraged but not mandatory. If you use a photo editing programs make sure designs keep the same aspect as in world. (No morphs and no vulgarity)

✦ We reserve the right to remove any images that is not matching our rules from the pool.

✦ Post the photo into the Fellini Couture, 1st Anniversary – Photo Contest group on Flickr :

Majestic in cream boasts a classic strapless lace bodice with delicate and very feminine inlays of shear beauty. The gown explodes into a beautiful full skirt with a train made of lovely feather overlaid petals, migrating down the length of the train to feathery excess. The train detaches so the gown can be worn as a ballroom gown as well.

Matching armband sleeves with bell accoutrements are featured as well as matching lace gloves.

The peacock was consecrated to her in memory of Argos, whom she took the hundred eyes, when he was killed, and put them on feathers of the bird.
