The Twisted Hunt is a bi-annual hunt that starts at DV8, and spans 150 stores across the grid.

It's the most challenging hunt on the grid, but also one of the most fun.  If you join the Twisted Hunt Group, you will make a lot of new friends, as group chatter occurs all the time, but ramps up as the hunt draws closer.  Everyone involved gets super excited about this hunt because the gifts are always superb.  In many cases, creators outdo themselves with gifts for this hunt, and many items are exclusive to the hunt.

Merchants also have a lot of Twisted fun with hunters by including mini-hunts in their stores, mazes, quests, and diabolical evil.  Decoys abound.  Even though merchants are limited to 10 *visible* decoys, there is no limit to invisible decoys, or simply renaming bits of your shop to confuse scanners.  People quite literally go nuts over this hunt, and many report having lurid dreams about the hunt item (a LeMarchand's puzzle box).  Nearly everyone who sets out on this hunt will finish it, even if it kills them.  The End Game is not to be missed. 

There is no blog with hints, because items are moved frequently.  Some of the more evil merchants move items several times a day.  The people in the group do help each other out with hints they've made up, simply because it's fun. 

You will find everything from clothes and hair, to exploding sheep and skyboxes in this hunt.

The Twisted Hunt theme for September 1-30, 2011 is "Unseelie", or Dark Fae.  The box will be indigo.
